The Pinoy Angelfish is developed through selective breeding practices. Selective Breeding enables a breeder to use the genetics of angelfish to manipulate the color and appearance of the angelfish. The Pinoy coloration of this angelfish variety is developed by carefully managing the angelfish blue gene (Pb) and the angelfish dark gene (D) in the parent fish that produce the resulting baby angelfish. The effect is a deep magnetic blue, black angelfish with colors that evolve in graceful motion. My personal favorite, the Pinoy Angelfish is sure to please in the aquarium.
